Song of the month: Cut My Hair by Mounika. (ft. Cavetown)
I've played this song way too many times. The sounds Mounika. uses are so pleasing to the ear that every time the song came up in my playlists- which was very often- I listened all the way through (I have a bad habit of skipping in the middle of songs so this is a major accomplishment lol)
I also adore Cavetown whose vocals from This Is Home were sampled in this song so that was a major reason that I love the song so much. (He also redid the song which you can find here)
Musician of the month: in love with a ghost
I've been a fan for a while, but I've been listening a lot this month. In love with a ghost creates calm, fresh music that has perfectly accompanied the chill of winter and all the Christmas songs played on the radio.
