Trans Day of Rememberance

There was a record number of killings of transgender individuals this year. I could say a number of things- about fighting, about mourning, about change- but nothing can express the disappointment I feel for this ongoing horror. The world is slowly creeping to a place of acceptance, but the LGBT+ community is still facing heavy discrimination. When will it stop? Will I be alive to see the day? Will you? Please keep the lives of those who died in vain at the hands of hate in your heart and mind not just today but every day. Love is love; People are people.
